Both are considered easy hikes, The Prairie Dock Trail is yet another example of small prairie openings common in Adams County. The Post Oak Trail features a short hike through an oak-hickory forest.

CreekCreek's Bend

Canoe and kayak access to Ohio Brush Creek is permitted at the Edge of Appalachia’s Creek's Bend access located approximately 7 miles east of West Union on Waggoner Riffle Road. Creek Bend has parking, restrooms and picnic area. Usually this lower section of Ohio Brush Creek has enough water, even during dry summers, to permit a downstream float. Public canoe pullouts downstream would be at Beasley Fork Bridge and the boat ramp at the Ohio River (7-mile float to Ohio River)
